See webpage for more information: [ http://rushu.libguides.com/rusharchives ] The original Rush Medical College was established in 1837 and closed in 1942. It was reestablished in 1969 and affiliated with Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital. This corporation became Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in 1969. Rush University was subsequently established in 1972, and came to include not only Rush Medical College, but also the College of Nursing, College of Health Sciences, and the Graduate College. Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center changed its name to Rush University Medical Center in 2003.

Course Bulletins / Course Catalogs for Rush University's Rush Medical College, College of Nursing, College of Health Sciences, and the Graduate College also include course catalogs for Rush Medical College's early years after reestablishment, 1970-1973. Rush University Bulletin includes academic calendars, financial aid information, programs of study for Rush Medical College, College of Nursing, College of Health Sciences and the Graduate College, course descriptions, faculty lists, and lists of committees. Graduate Medical Education, Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, also produced an annual or biannual publication, directed toward House Staff. Each college had its own bulletin, 1973-1982. After 1982, Rush University published a Bulletin to represent all of the colleges. It was published annually, 1982-1994, and biannually, 1994-2002, and annually again, beginning with the 2003-2004 school year. Beginning with 2012-2013, the Rush University Bulletin became the Rush University Catalog. For the years from 2005-2006 through 2011-2012, Bulletin (Catalog) information was available online, but not in a printable format. These years have been recreated using original HTML files.
